This article goes over how to set sales targets and customer visit goals in Crik-IT.
Sales targets will appear on the Sales Year Over Year report and on the Monthly Sales With Customer Visits Stats report. Sales targets are set per customer.
Customer visit goals, and customer visits, will appear on the Monthly Sales With Customer Visits Stats report. Customer visit goals are set per customer.
How It Works
Step 1: Adding Dropdown Values
Go to the Tools tab and click on 'Maintain Dropdown Values'.
Then, select the Drop Down Type 'ContactNoteType'.
From there, you'll be able to add your sales target and customer visit values.
Add a 'Sales Forecast YYYY' value, where YYYY is the current year; for ex. Sales Forecast 2025.
Add a 'Customer Visit Goal YYYY' value, where YYYY is the current year; for ex. Customer Visit Goal 2025. Then, add a 'Customer Visit' dropdown value.

Once you've created those dropdown values, you'll be able to define them using the Crik-IT Contact Notes feature.
Step 2.1: Define Your Sales Target for each Customer
Go to the Contact Notes tab and enter a new contact note.
Select 'Sales Forecast YYYY' under 'Type'.
Select the customer you want to set the sales target for under 'Related to'.
Then, enter your target amount in the Sales Forecast field.
Repeat the process with all the customers you wish to set targets for.
Please note: You cannot have more than one 'Sales Forecast YYYY' contact note per customer for the current calendar year. If you have more than one 'Sales Forecast YYYY' contact note for a customer, Crik-IT will look at the oldest 'Sales Forecast YYYY' contact note for the current year to determine the 'Sales Forecast YYYY'.

Step 2.2: Define Your Customer Visit Goals for each Customer
Go to the Contact Notes tab and enter a new contact note.
Select 'Customer Visit Goal YYYY' under 'Type'.
Select the customer you want to set the customer visit goal for under 'Related to'.
Then, enter your target amount in the Customer Visit Goal field.
Repeat the process with all the customers you wish to set customer visit goals for.

Customer Visits:
Each time your reps visit one of their customers, they should enter a 'Customer Visit' contact note for the customer in question. See the image below.
This will keep track of their visits to customers and determine whether they have met the customer visit goal, established for that customer. This will be shown on the Monthly Sales With Customer Visits Stats report.
