This help document is for In-house users who have permission to add users.
In-house users with permission to add users can also add Rep users and B2B Customer users!
Note: In-house users have access to company-wide information. That said, not all in-house users are 'Admins'. You can configure whether an in-house user is an Admin in Maintain Permissions, in the Tools tab--where you can set all user permissions.
Step 1: Go to the Tools tab and click 'Add Portal User'
Step 2: In the 'Select User Type' dropdown, select 'In-house'
Step 3: Create their Username and Add their Contact Information
Enter the username of the in-house user you wish to add as a portal user in the Username field. Once you've done so, click on 'Next'.
Step 4: Finish Creating Your In-house User
Fill out your in-house user's contact information. You'll see the username you entered for them in the 'Username' field.
Note: The 'create your password' email will be sent to the email address you enter in the 'Email' field.
Once you've added your in-house user's information, click 'Create User'.
Your In-house User Will Receive an Email
Your in-house user will receive two emails once you've added them as a CrikSales user: A welcome email and an email to create their portal password.
Please note: The link to create the portal password will expire within 24 hours if unused.
Below is an example of the 'create your password' email your in-house user will receive once you've added them as a CrikSales user.
