You have two options
1. You can enter the url into the QuickBooks product SKU field. Tell me more.
2. You can enter the url into the QuickBooks product purchase description. Tell me more.
Put the URL into the QuickBooks product SKU field
In QuickBooks Online, edit the item, and change the SKU to include "URL=www.
Notes:
- If the SKU field doesn't show, you may have to turn it on in the QuickBooks settings area.
- The SKU field is picky about what type of info can be entered, so it will not accept "http://", for example. So don't try to put the "http://" or "https://" in there; Crik-IT will automatically put "http://" in front of the url.
- You can have other information in the SKU field, as shown below.

Put the URL into the QuickBooks product purchase description field
In QuickBooks Online, edit the item, and change the purchase description to include "URL:http://www.
Notes:
- Important: The URL needs to be on its own line in the purchase description field. Crik-IT looks for "URL:" then takes whatever follows that to the end of the line as the URL.
Example -- We're going to add a URL to the Kubota Tractor item in our QuickBooks Online product list. In the QuickBooks Online product list, click Edit for that item.
Next, make sure you click the checkbox that says "I purchase this product from a vendor." Then, on its own line in the purchase description, enter "url:" followed by the exact URL to use for that item. Make sure you hit enter immediately after the URL.
Let me see what this looks like in Crik-IT
Changes you make in QuickBooks will be sent to your Crik-IT portal within approximately 15 minutes. After those changes have sync-ed over to Crik-IT, you will notice that "Link to Product Page" for that item will have a new link called "Item Web Page".
When that link is clicked, a new tab will open with the page loaded.
