You can configure Crik-IT to make it easy for your users to access detailed product information with a click of the mouse. You can define one URL to use for ALL products, or one URL to use for each of your product lines, or a different URL for each individual product.
Here's how to set this up.
First, log into Crik-IT as a Crik-IT administrator and go to the Tools tab.
Then click on the "Crik-IT / QuickBooks Config Menu" button in the Other Tools section.

When the Crik-IT /QuickBooks configuration menu comes up, click on the Item URL Configuration button.

You have 3 options. The first provides you with a way to define a single URL to use for ALL your items.

The second option allows you to define a different URL for each product line. (See this help article for how to assign an item to a product line)

The third option allows you to use a different URL for each item. This option involves using a QuickBooks custom field called ProductPageURL on your QuickBooks items.

If you choose the third option, in QuickBooks, set up a custom field called ProductPageURL on your items. Enter the URL to use for each item in this custom field.
Note: you are limited to 30 characters in a QuickBooks custom field. You can use a URL-shortening service such as Free URL Shortener's (https://free-url-shortener.rb.gy/). This service will shorten a long URL such as https://www.crik-it-portal-for-quickbooks.com/pages/sales-reps-force-team-portal.html to a nice, short URL such as https://rb.gy/nkpogw.
Here's an example of a ProductPageURL custom field in QuickBooks.
In Crik-IT, the product page URL is accessed from the Items page, such as shown in the screen shot below. (Note that when you mouse over the link, the product page URL will show in the bottom left of the page.) When you click the link, a new tab will open with the product page URL automatically loaded.
