Yes! You can upload one photo per item. Photos will show in the various item grids that are displayed throughout the Crik-IT portal, including on the Browse Items order entry page.
First things first: If you want to use this feature, click here to open a ticket requesting that we enable this feature for you. We'll email you after we have enabled it for you.
Once enabled, in-house users will see a new option in the Tools tab, called "Upload Item Photos".
When you click that button, you'll see a screen like the one shown below, showing all your items. For any item, you can either drag and drop a photo onto the image placeholder, or you can click the image placeholder to select a photo from a browse files window.
You can upload file type of jpeg, jpg, png, or gif.
After dragging and dropping, or selecting a photo from the browse files window, a small "Upload" button will appear. Click that to complete the upload process.
The uploaded photo will now appear in place of the placeholder.
To replace a photo, either drag and drop a different photo on top of the current image, or click the current image to select from a browse files window.
To remove a photo altogether, simply click the "Remove photo" link that shows to the right of the image.
Notes:
- If the Item Name (i.e. item SKU in Crik-IT) is changed in your QuickBooks, the link to the image in Crik-IT will be broken and a new image will have to be uploaded for the new Name/SKU.
- Before you upload images, make sure the Color Space and Color Profile is RGB. Images in different formats, such as CMYK, cause issues with your PDF documents (if you have asked us to show images on your printed orders or invoices), where images look stretched or are not rendering properly. You can correct the format using Photoshop or any image editor.
