Want only some of your QuickBooks Online items to be sent to Crik-IT? Well, we can help you out!
First, you need to tell Crik-IT how to identify which items should go to Crik-IT.
Note: If you are using Crik-IT's Bundle Item feature, please see these important notes.

Get to the Crik-IT Configuration menu.
- Log into the Crik-IT app using your administrator username... this is usually the username you used when you originally signed up for Crik-IT for QuickBooks Online.
- Click on the Tools tab.

Click on the Crik-IT Config Menu button. It may take a minute for the configuration menu to appear.
- From the Crik-IT Configuration menu, click the Item Configuration button.
- You'll see this:

Make your selections:
- If you want all your QuickBooks online products to show in Crik-IT, select "All items should show in Crik-IT".
- If your QuickBooks Online system is configured to allow you to specify that you "sell this product/service to my customers", you can tell Crik-IT to only bring over the products with that checkbox checked by selecting the "Only items that you sell to customers should show in Crik-IT" option.
- If you want to be more selective, you can tell Crik-IT to only bring items from QuickBooks if you have typed "ItemToCrikIT" somewhere in the 'Description on purchase forms' area (see purple outlined area in screenshot at the bottom of this page). To do this choose the third option in the screenshot above.
- Another option is to tell Crik-IT to only bring over those items with "To-Portal" entered in the SKU field for the QuickBooks product (SKU is the orange outlined area in the screenshot at the bottom of this page).

If you only have a few items that should NOT go to Crik-IT, choose the fifth option in the screenshot above. Then, you need to tell Crik-IT to only bring items that either:
- do NOT have "DoNotSendToCrik-IT" somewhere in the 'Description on purchase forms' area (see purple outlined area in screenshot at the bottom of this page), OR
- do NOT have "No-Portal" somewhere in the SKU field (see orange outlined area in screenshot at the bottom of this page).
- Finally, if you want Services to be sent to Crik-IT (subject to the selections you made above), make sure you turn on the Services checkbox in the screenshot above.
- When you have finished making your selections, make sure you click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
- Make sure you have made the appropriate changes to your QuickBooks Online items, based on the selection you made above.

When ready, you should re-sync your item data with Crik-IT:
- From the Crik-IT Configuration menu, click on the "Sync Your Data" button.
- Click the link that says "Let me choose what to sync (use only if Crik-IT support staff says to)".
- Click the "Sync Item Data" button.
Important Notes Regarding Bundle Item Sync
- If you are using Crik-IT's Bundle Items feature, you need to be aware of these factors:
- If you are bringing over only those items that you mark as "We sell this item" in QuickBooks Online, ALL bundle items will be brought over to Crik-IT. This is because it is not possible in QuickBooks to mark a bundle item as an item that you sell, so we bring all bundle items over.
- If you are bringing over items based on "ItemToCrikIT" or "DoNotSendToCrik-IT" being in the QuickBooks product purchase description, ALL bundle items will be brought over to Crik-IT. This is because there is no Purchase Description for bundle items in QuickBooks, so we bring all bundle items over.
- If you are bringing over items based on "To-Portal" or "No-Portal" being somewhere in the SKU field, Crik-IT will pull over only the bundle items that meet your criteria. We are able to do this because bundle items DO have an SKU field available in QuickBooks (if you are using that feature).
