We want to be sure you don't miss any orders entered through Crik-IT so we have a number of stop-gap measures in place.
First, Crik-IT is set up to automatically send an alert to the Order contact email address if a there is an order in the system that has not been submitted. The purpose of this reminder email is to make sure that unsubmitted orders don't get lost or forgotten. Crik-IT gives the user a day to submit an order, so this reminder is sent out on the second business day after the order is originally entered.
Then, when an order is submitted, your order desk receives an email with that order attached as a PDF, and:
- For QuickBooks desktop subscribers, within 3 minutes, that order will go to your Crik-IT Sync Manager (CISM) sync cloud. The next time your CISM runs, it will download that order to your QuickBooks system as a new sales order. CISM typically looks for new orders in the CISM cloud every 5 minutes.
- For QuickBooks Online subscribers, within 3 minutes, that order will go to your QuickBooks Online system as a new estimate.
