QuickBooks Desktop: What are my options for PO Number or transaction number on QuickBooks orders or invoices created by Crik-IT?

PO Number on QuickBooks transactions created by Crik-IT

By default, the Crik-IT Order Reference number goes to the QuickBooks sales order or invoice as the PO Number.
We can configure your Crik-IT to have the Customer Reference go to QuickBooks as the PO number. If you need this, contact us at support@crik-it.com and ask us to set this up for you.

By default, the transaction created in QuickBooks will have a reference number starting with "CISM". Most of our subscribers want to be able to easily identify transactions that were created by orders submitted through Crik-IT and this accomplishes that.
We can configure your Crik-IT to have QuickBooks assign the reference number, if you prefer. If you need this, contact us at support@crik-it.com and ask us to set this up for you.
Another option: We can create a custom preface for you, such as "CI-". Crik-IT orders will then go to your QuickBooks with reference number = "CI-" followed by the Crik-IT Order Reference number. Lots of people prefer this method because they can easily find the transaction in QuickBooks that was created by a specific Crik-IT order.
