In a nutshell, a Crik-IT order is considered "confirmed" when Crik-IT sees an "order confirmation" with a PO number that equals either the Crik-IT order reference number or the Crik-IT order customer's reference. Note: a QuickBooks sales order is shown as an "order confirmation" in Crik-IT.
Most subscribers have the customer reference on the Crik-IT order sent to the QuickBooks sales order as the PO number; some subscribers have the Crik-IT order reference number sent to the QuickBooks sales order as the PO number. Take a look at the two fields:
Here's an example showing how this works for a subscriber who's Crik-IT is configured to send the customer's reference to the QuickBooks sales order PO number field. In the screenshot above, the customer's reference is "CR-4356". Here's how this will look in QuickBooks:
After that sales order has been created in QuickBooks, it will be sent back to Crik-IT as an "order confirmation". Notice the PO number is the same as the customer's reference originally entered on the Crik-IT order (top screenshot).
Now that Crik-IT has an order confirmation on file with a PO number matching the customer's reference number for the order entered in Crik-IT, Crik-IT considers that order "confirmed".
Here's how the order looks in the Orders Entered in Portal report:
Note: If Crik-IT is configured to send the Crik-IT order reference number to the QuickBooks SO as the PO number, a similar process is followed, except that Crik-IT sends the order reference number to QuickBooks as the PO number (1240 in the order shown in the top screenshot), then looks for an order confirmation with PO number that matches the Crik-IT order reference number (instead of matching the Crik-IT customer reference).
