Crik-IT can be configured to use your Item Categories in QuickBooks as Product Lines in Crik-IT. Here's how to do that.
First, an example.
Here's a QuickBooks item that is assigned to a category:

Here's how to configure this in Crik-IT:
Log into your Crik-IT portal as a Crik-IT administrator and click Tools tab. Under Other Tools, click Crik-IT / QuickBooks Config Menu.
Click Item Configuration.
From the Item Configuration page, scroll down to the Product Line Configuration section.
If you want to use your QuickBooks Item Categories as Product Lines in Crik-IT, click on the "Our Item Categories in QuickBooks are our product lines" button. (If you need to use something else as your product line, open a support ticket with us and we can discuss some ideas.)
Click on Save Configuration Info and you will be put back to the Crik-IT for QuickBooks Configuration Menu.
The last step is to do a full sync of your Item data so Crik-IT will pull your product lines from QuickBooks into Crik-IT. To do this, from the Crik-IT for QuickBooks Configuration Menu, click on the "Sync Your Data" button. Then click the blue link that says "Let me choose what to sync", then click the "Sync Item Data" button.
