Contact Notes have been updated to include an email reminder date, as well as a "create a follow up contact note" feature.
Contact Notes are used to record notes about phone conversations, customer visits, collection calls, and more. They are also used to enter upcoming tasks, meetings, and to-dos. For an overview on contact notes, click here.

Email Reminder Date
The email reminder date will be set to one day before the contact note is due by default, but this can be changed to fit the user's needs.
If the user wishes to receive the reminder email one week prior to the due date for example, they can configure it do so; or, if they wish to receive the reminder email two days after the due date, they can also configure this to be the case.
If the reminder date is set in the future, a message will appear below the date, emphasizing that the reminder date was set in the future.
Create Follow Up Contact Notes
After changing the status of an existing contact note from "pending" to "complete" and saving it, a pop up will appear on screen asking the user if they wish to create a follow up contact note. The user can click on "Ok" to create the follow up contact note. If the user does not wish to create a follow up contact note, they will click on "Cancel".
The create a follow up note pop-up will show up every time a contact note gets saved.
Being able to create multiple follow ups can allow a user to create a step-by-step workflow using contact notes if they wish to do so. For example, the original contact note is a phone call, the first follow up note is an email, the second follow up is a meeting, and so on.
