Let's get started on creating a user name for a Rep user.
To create a user name for one of your Rep users, log into your Crik-IT portal as an in-house user who has permission to add a portal user (this permission is given by default to all in-house users).
1) click on the Tools tab, then 2) click on the Add Portal User button.
Next, tell Crik-IT what type of user you are creating, which will be a Rep user.
Once you have chosen Rep, Crik-IT will display a drop-down list showing your reps. Select the rep for whom you are creating a user name.
Now fill out all the requested info.
Important: if you are just testing Crik-IT, when asked for the Rep’s email address, use your own email address. When Crik-IT creates a user name, a "Welcome" email is automatically sent to the email address you enter here.
When done, click the Create User button.
Crik-IT confirms that it has added the new user name by showing you the screen below and will automatically send a "Welcome" email to the email address you entered for this user with the user name that Crik-IT created for this user. Crik-IT does NOT send the password in the "Welcome" email, so you'll have to communicate that to your Rep some other way, for example via a phone call or a separate email.
