Want to have different prices for different customers? We have you covered! We've built a way for you to upload special pricing for customers directly in CrikSales; read on to learn how this works.
Note: Only in-house users set up as admin can upload pricing in CrikSales.
Important note: All customer price lists must be included on one spreadsheet uploaded in CrikSales. Step 1: Choose How You Assign Price Levels to Customers
Whether you wish to assign a specific price list to a single customer, or whether you wish to assign a share price level/pricing tier to several customers, you can do so using either of the options below.
Option 1: Customer Notes
Assign a price level/ price list code to the customers you wish to set special pricing for in the Customer Notes in QuickBooks, like so: 'PriceList: PricelistName.'
Important note: The period at the end is important, as it tells CrikSales when to stop looking at the price list name.
Steps:
Step 1: Drill down into the customer by clicking the customer name on the Customers list in QuickBooks.
Step 2: Once you're on the customer details, click the pencil icon next to Notes.
Step 3: This will open the Customer screen. Enter your price list name in the Notes. Make sure you click on Save.
In the example below, the price list name is Gold.
Option 2: Customer Type
Use the Customer Type selected on the customer record in QuickBooks to assign a price level/ price list code to the customers you wish to offer special pricing to.

Summary of Instructions & Notes:
- Do not delete or change row 1. Do not add or change the columns.
- Rows 2 through 4 show sample data. Before entering your own price list info, delete the sample data.
- The VendorSKU column will be auto-populated with your items from QuickBooks.
- You don't need to enter the item description, CrikSales will map this automatically.
- Enter the item's standard SRP (suggested retail price) in the SRP column.
- Enter the item's cost in the Cost column. This will be your customer's cost for this item.
- In the PricelistID column, enter the customer price list exactly as it appears in QuickBooks.
- If you chose Option 1: Enter the price list name exactly as it appears between 'PriceList:' and the period in the QuickBooks Customer Notes. (So for our example, you would enter Gold in the PricelistID column). See image 'Option 1'.
- If you chose Option 2: Enter the price list name exactly as it appears in the Customer Type dropdown on the customer record. (So for our example, you would enter Silver in the PricelistID column). See image 'Option 2'.
- Repeat this process for each item priced differently under each of your price lists/price levels.
- Note: An item should appear on the spreadsheet as many times as it is priced differently across price lists/levels (entered in the PricelistID column).
