NOTE: Do not do this unless instructed to by Crik-IT Support.
- Log into the CISM machine as an administrator. You will be editing the two files highlighted below. NOTE: C:\ProgramData may be a hidden folder, and it requires administrator permission to access. If you have trouble finding or accessing it, get help from your IT support folks.
- Copy and paste C:\ProgramData\CrikITSyncer\CISMLastCtl.txt to a different location as a backup.
- Copy and paste C:\ProgramData\CrikITSyncer\RemoteConnectorService.ini to a different location as a backup.
- If CISM is currently running, close it.
- Open QuickBooks company file that was moved to a different location. Hit F2 to open the Product Information, then copy the file location (highlighted below). Close the Product Information window.
- Edit C:\ProgramData\CrikITSyncer\CISMLastCtl.txt. Replace the text between the 3rd and 4th commas (highlighted below) with the QuickBooks company file location you copied in the step above. Then save your changes.
- Edit C:\ProgramData\CrikITSyncer\RemoteConnectorService.ini. Replace the CompanyFile location (highlighted below) with the QuickBooks company file location you copied in the step above. Then save your changes.
- Finally, open CISM and do a full sync to make sure the data in CISM is current.
